Elmo Long, Jr., better known as "June" or "Pete" entered this journey of life on March 29, 1955 in Louisburg, NC. He transitioned from his earthly body on October 22, 2025.
He was the eldest of five siblings, born to the late Thelma Eaddy (formerly Long) and Elmo Long Sr. June was educated in Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Fairmont Hill High School. He worked for Huber & Sons Landscaping Company and Blue Cross/Blue Sheild in the maintenance department.
June met Amber King and from their union, they birthed a son, Andrew Long.
June really enjoyed landscaping, as well as spending time with his family.
June was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Eaddy (Nathaniel Eaddy) & Elmo Long Sr., his brothers, James Earl Long and Tommy Ray Long; his one and only grandson, Aaron Byron Long.
He leaves to mourn his legacy: his only son, Andrew Long; Mary Long, Connie Frances Hardy, and Tammy Wynette Ragin (William); four aunts, Ella Kernodle, Janie Terrell (James), Helen Woodard (John, and Carolyn West; two nephews Charles Hardy (Shannon) and Shawn Jackson Jr; three nieces, TaLonna Hill, Brittany Long, and Teisha Long; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
