Elna Edgerton Obituary
Funeral services for Elna Alston Edgerton, age 87, who died on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Castalia with Pastor Sylvester White officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Rock Church Cemetery.
She is survived by eight daughters, Carolyn Hardy (Richard), Anndoris Edgerton (Earl), Ruby Edgerton, Joyce Woodard (Andre`), Tracie Hockaday (Al), Geraldine Tabron, Michelle Manson, Charlotte Baker (Leon); four sons, William Edgerton (Dina), Larry Edgerton (Linda), Darnell Edgerton (Barbara) and Michael Edgerton, all of Louisburg, NC; 59 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
There is no public viewing scheduled for Mrs. Elna Alston Edgerton.

To my family, we were saddened to here of the Home going of Aunt Elna. As she is the last of the Alston's siblings. They have left the torch for us to carry on. May the precious memories of a life well lived comfort you during this most difficult time. You are never alone. God got you!
