Now here's an old friend who will be greatly missed! We got to have Eloise because she fell in love with David Keller, another Lawrence poet, when they met first in the West and then at the Frost Place in Franconia, New Hampshire. Eventually she came to live in Lawrence with her dog and cat. She and I spent several summers as cooks for the Frost Place poets and I will always remember our "kitchen time" fondly.

Eloise was a kind, gentle, and open woman. She added creativity to all situations. You will be missed, Eloise!
