Eloise Lipscomb Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pilar Funeral Home - Garland on Jan. 5, 2024.
Eloise Faye Lipscomb was born to Quincy and Bertha Lipscomb on November 2, 1952, in Garland, Texas. Lois attended school in Garland ISD and graduated from South Garland High School then went on to attend Eastfield College in Dallas, Texas. Lois accepted Christ at a young age and attended Sims Chapel Baptist Church in Garland, Texas, where she sang in the choir. She met and married Robert Lewis Ross, Sr. and to this union, 2 sons were born; Arrington Chadwick Ross and Robert Lewis Ross, Jr.
An avid lover of music, singing and dancing, Lois enjoyed house parties and gatherings with family and friends. Lois never met a stranger due to her fun and outgoing personality and she was loved by those she touched, especially the children who were always drawn to her. And with her competitive spirit, you could always follow the sound of her laughter and find her talking noise on the spades table or cheering for Arrington and Robert Jr. as the loudest fan at their football games.
Lois was preceded in her homegoing by her parents, Quincy and Bertha; son, Robert Jr.; sister Quency Ingram; and nephews, Roderick Wallace and Leroy Ingram, Jr.
To cherish her memories, Lois leaves her son, Arrington (Christina); daughter-in-law Laura; grandchildren, Stephen (Lauren); great-grandson, Banks; Cydney and Maya; sister, Bertha Wallace; nieces and nephews, Rochelle (Norm), Darrell, Yvonne (LaDaryll), Andrea; great-nieces and nephews, Neachelle, Krystina, Daria, Joshua, Jeremiah and Preston and a host of other relatives and friends.
