Eloise Suhr Lloyd, 84, of Austin, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2003, after a brief but very courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Eloise was born on November 15, 1918 in Austin, one of ten brothers and sisters, five of whom have preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lloyd, in 1982. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, Mema, sister, and aunt. Survivors include her children; Robert Busby and his wife, Linda, of Port Alto, Patsy Nixon and her husband, Robert, of Austin, Jackie Childress and her husband, Wesley, of Round Rock, Debbie Laster and her husband, Dave, of Alvarado, and Billy Jack and his wife, Kris, of Manor. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Oleta Philips, of Fitzhugh, Lenora Reimers, of Spicewood; brothers, Eugene Collier, of McQueeny, and L. V. Collier, of Spicewood; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 24 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 25, 2003 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Gautier officiating. Interment will follow at Teck Cemetery, RR620, Austin, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family would like to thank her family and friends, Dr. Dan Baker and his office staff, with special appreciation to Kathy Mosteller; also, the many caregivers at Hearthstone Health Center in Round Rock for their love and care in the last month of her life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress, Austin 442-1446. You may view memorials at www.wcfish.com.
