Born in Mercedes TX he was the son of Francisco and Juanita Hernandez.
They shared eight children.
Elpidio attended Delano High School and that is where he met the love of his life.
Elpidio and Lydia married on March 1, 1974.
Soon after they had daughters Laura and Elisa.
Elpidio was a simple guy, yet with great work ethics and a devoted family man.
He is survived by his daughters Laura Briseño (spouse Adrian Briseño) and Elisa Hernandez, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Sister Linda Goo (spouse Darrell Goo)
