Elsie C. Hall, 84, of South Kingstown passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Storrs, Connecticut on June 1, 1941 to her beloved parents, the late Richard and Mildred (Warren) Chak. She was the devoted wife of the late Alton D. Hall for fifty years.
Elsie was a perpetual student throughout her lifetime. She had a great love for learning. In her spare time, Elsie enjoyed creative pursuits such as painting, knitting, and baking for family and friends .Elsie savored any time spent with family, especially her six grandchildren. She was an avid fan of their sporting events and supported them throughout their lives. .
Elsie is survived by her children: Randy Harger, Shannon Hall Walker (the late Dennis Walker), David Hall (Karen), Hope Tyrrell (David), and Brian Hall (Colleen) and her grandchildren: Allison Hall, Timothy Hall, Samantha Tyrrell, AJ Hall, Austin Hall, and Jacob Hall, her brother Phillip Chak and her sister Patricia Lewis (Thomas).
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 25th from 4-7 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI, 02879. A Mass of Chrisitan burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 26th at 11 am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Rd., Kingston, RI 02881. Burial will take place in St. Francis cemetery, George Schaeffer St., Peace Dale, 02879.
