KRAPF, Elsie Marie, age 85 of Moraine, Ohio, passed away on Monday morning, February 10, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Uneeda, West Virginia on Monday, May 22, 1939, to Buel and Freida (née Angel) Price. Elsie was a lifelong resident of the Dayton area as well as a beacon of love and faith within her community.
Elsie dedicated 29 years of her career to Monarch Marking, where she worked diligently as a slitter operator. Beyond her professional life, she was a 50+ year devout member of the Miamisburg Assembly of God, where her passion for faith was evident in her joyful dancing and praise during worship services.
A woman of many interests, Elsie cherished gardening, shopping, home decorating, and dancing. Her home was a reflection of her love for aesthetics; adorned with beautiful flowers and carefully chosen decorations.
Elsie is survived by her sons, Kevin and Fred Krapf as well as their families; her sister, Phyllis Gillenwater of South Charleston, WV; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buel and Freida; beloved husband, Larry Krapf; siblings, Delavia Baker and Jack Price, along with many other precious family members.
Elsie's life was a testament to her strong faith and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Her legacy of warmth and devotion will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
Doors will open for calling hours and family to receive visiting friends at 11am; Funeral Service to begin at 12pm, both will be held at Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home on Monday, February 17th, 2025. She will be privately laid to rest, next to her husband, Larry, at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
