Elsie TATE Obituary

TATE, Elsie Alley, 99, of Lakeside, departed this life and went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan E. Slaughter. She is survived by her two sons, William Tate and his wife, Kathy, and Earl W. Tate; three grandchildren, Todd Tate, Tracy Keenan, Adam Tate; and one great-grandchild, Morgan Tate. She will be eternally remembered as a strong and loving woman and wonderful mother, grandmother and lifelong friend. Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

How blessed I have been knowing such a great lady. She touched my life in so many ways. We shared a lot of laughs and I will remember her kind, and loving nature.

Elsie Tate touched the lives of many. She was a true friend. She will be greatly missed. I couldn't of wished for a better grandmother, or friend. She will always be with us in our hearts. We love you.
