Elsy Álvarez Acosta was born in Santi espíritus 05/19/1936, a small town in the center of the island of Cuba surrounded by her parents Dolores Acosta and Leandro Álvarez and three younger brothers
Elsy died on July 28 /2025 in Las Vegas Nevada at the age of 91 surrounded by three of her children

Barbara Viñas also her grandchildren Dayana Batista and great-grandchildren, leaving another daughter in Cuba Vilma Viñas and her husband Eloy Puentes who for more than 50 years were happily married

Elsy was a very exemplary mother, wife and grandmother endowed with excellent values, affectionate and hardworking
During her life she was loved and admired by all family and friends who met Elsy will always have her in this heart.
