I knew Ellie through Avon Lake Women´s Chorus. She sang beautifully and was kind to all those around her.

Elvie as me and my mom called her was my Godmother. It´s because of she and Don´s time in Pine Mountain Valley that I now have a little slice of Heaven across the street from her previous home. As many have said, her kind spirit and gentle way was exuded in her smile and her eyes every where she went. Despite the tremendous loss she experienced in her life, she had unwavering faith. I will remember her warmth and her scent (Design perfume) fondly! I´m grateful she is now with her sons and Don. Rest in Peace Elvie. You will be missed.

Sincere sympathy on the passing of your dear Aunt Ellie. She had many friends in the Avon Lake Women´s Chorus who admired her kindness and gentle, caring nature. It was an honor to sing beside her as we entertained residents in senior healthcare facilities over the years. I´ve attached two photos that include her precious smile. May she Rest In Peace while singing with Heaven´s other angels.

I met Ellie through our singing group, the Avon Lake women´s chorus. We became friends and travelled together on several extended bus trips. We enjoyed talking about current events and books we were reading. She was a sweet and kind lady and very intelligent. I will miss Ellie..

I spent many years working in the salon in Avon lake where Ellie got her hair done and I even got the privilege of doing it a few times. She was such a beautiful and kind woman. She will be missed by so many RIH Ellie
