Elween G. Graves

Elween Graves - Age 100 of Nashville, TN. February 1, 2026. Known as "Nanny" to everyone. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her family was everything to her, and she cherished their time together. She was a 70-year member of Crievewood Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee, where she served in many volunteer roles throughout the years. Her smile was contagious and everyone she met loved her.

Preceded in death by husband, Felix Graves; son-in-law, Scott Whitson; sisters, Margaret Byrd, Christine Walls and Doris Clark; and infant brother, Louis George, Jr.

Survived by daughters, Pam (James) Brown and Pat Whitson; and grandchildren, Whit Whitson and Karli (Baylor) McKay.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Will Sensing on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 12:00 noon (visitation 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon) at Crievewood Baptist Church, 480 Hogan Road, Nashville, TN 37220. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearer: Kenneth Bess. Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
