(Elwood) Robert E Wimbrow Sr.

Snow Hill - Elwood Wimbrow, 83, passed away September 18, 2025, after a brief stay at Coastal Hospice in Salisbury, Md. He was born in Stockton, Md to the late Douglas P. Wimbrow and Mary E. Wimbrow. He was the youngest of their 11 children.

Elwood worked at Moore Business Forms in Snow Hill, Md. until their closure with almost 20 years of service. He was a career poultry farmer and maintenance technician at various locations of the poultry industry until his retirement at Mountaire Farms in 2005. He was also a lifetime member of the Stockton Fire Department.

Elwood is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy L. Garrison Wimbrow; daughters, Linda Rogers of Salisbury, Md. and Lisa Passwaters (Jimmy) of Florence, Arizona. Four grandchildren; Rob Sykes (Kara) of Salisbury, Christopher James, of Shelltown, Lindsay Popa (Brian) and Adam Passwaters of San Tan Valley, Arizona. Five great grandchildren; Aubrey Sykes, Parker Sykes, Jolean James, Will James, and Maverick Popa.

He has 1 surviving sister, Patricia (Pat) Lambertson, of Snow Hill, Md. and a beloved sister-in-law, Diane Werner (Charles) of Delmar, De. and a host of nieces and nephews. He was proceeding in death by a son, Robert E (Bobby) Wimbrow Jr. in 2010.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26th, 2025 @ 1pm at the Stockton Fire Department 1501 Snow Hill Rd. Stockton Md.

Interment will be held at later date at Spence Baptist Church in Snow Hill. Arrangements are being hosted by Eastern Shore Cremation and Funeral Services of Berlin, Md.
