He was a great man, he's a very loving person with a great sense of humanity.

I am sorry for the loss to your family. May your family be surrounded by the love of the lord.

Emerson was a great leader across South Carolina in many ways. His leadership of the efforts for reduction of our home taxes and elimination of the grocery tax is still saving our citizens as much as a billion dollars a year. I have had many hundreds of people express appreciation for the efforts. It was a great pleasure to work with him.

Please know that our prayers are with his family.

So many happy memories from King St. I especially recall hearing daddy and Uncle Emerson laughing down in the workshop telling stories. He was a dear and wonderful man and I will always be grateful for his kindness to me. Much love to all in the family.
