Emeterio Jimenez

Emeterio Jimenez, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on December 29, 2025, at the residence of his daughter. He was born on June 20, 1947, in Duster, Michigan.

Emeterio dedicated much of his life to his work as a dental technician, where he was known for his caring approach and commitment to his patients. He was a man of many interests and talents. He enjoyed oil painting, which allowed him to express his creativity, and he cherished his time traveling, carving moments into lasting memories with loved ones. He spent many hours woodworking and practicing carpentry, skills that showcased his dedication and craftsmanship.

Emeterio is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa Jimenez, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Emeterio leaves behind his daughter, Maria Jimenez, and her husband Robert Wiederhold of Orlando; his son, Emetero Jimenez, Jr. of Winter Haven; and his son, Omar Jimenez of Frostproof. He was also a proud sibling to Cruz Jimenez of Fennville, Michigan; Elvira Rodriguez of Zeeland, Michigan; Mary Oisten of Holland, Michigan; and Gloria Jimenez of Lake Wales. Emeterio will be deeply missed by his ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Emeterio was preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Manula Jimenez, and by his siblings: Esteban Jimenez, Juan Jimenez, Paula Jimenez, and Donna Jimenez.

Visitation and Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales, Florida, on January 6, 2026. The visitation will start at 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
