Emil Albrecht Obituary
Born in Paterson, NJ to the late Emil and Johanna Albrecht, he resided in Rockaway Twp. for 47 years. He had been employed as an accountant with the Star Ledger Newspaper in Newark, NJ prior to retirement. Emil was a parishioner of St. Cecilia Church in Rockaway and a member of the St. Cecilia Seniors club.
He was predeceased by his sister, Wilhelmina Watters in 2022
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lorraine Albrecht; two children: Robert Albrecht (Jennifer) and Donna Albrecht (Liz Capodanno); and two grandchildren: Kayla and Jason Albrecht.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 4:00 - 6:30PM at the Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave, Rockaway, NJ 07866. A funeral service will conclude the visitation at the funeral home at 6:30 PM.
