In Loving Memory of Emil Lyubomirov Ilchev
June 4, 1962 – February 13, 2026
Emil Lyubomirov Ilchev, born on June 4, 1962 in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria, passed away quietly in his sleep on February 13, 2026. He was the beloved son of Lyubomir Vasilev and Roza Ilieva, who raised him with strong values, resilience, and devotion to family.
Emil completed his education at the Professional Transportation School in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria, setting the foundation for what would become a lifelong career on the road. He worked proudly as an international driver throughout Europe until 2017. After moving to the United States, he continued his profession as an interstate truck driver, demonstrating the same dedication, work ethic, and responsibility that defined his life.
He was a devoted husband to Anelia Yordanova Ilchev and a loving and proud father to his two sons, Yordan Emilov Ilchev, in Selma, Oregon, and Vladimir Emilov Ilchev, in Bulgaria. His greatest joy came from his family, especially his cherished granddaughters, Kamelia Yordan Ilchev and Margarita Yordan Ilchev, who brought light and happiness into his life.
Emil will be remembered for his strength, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to providing for his family. He lived a life marked by hard work, integrity, and love. Though he spent countless miles on the highways of Europe and America, his heart was always at home with those he loved most. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, honor, and deep family bonds that will continue through generations.
May he rest in peace.
