Emilia Torres Obituary
Emilia was born July 20, 1932 in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico to the late Fermin Hernandes and Juanita Guzman Hernandes.
Emilia came to America with her late husband Miguel Torres and her children. He preceded her in death in 1986. After his passing Emilia never remarried and remained a widow for 39 years.
Emilia is survived by her son Richard Torres her daughter in law Gloria Torres, her daughter Irma Torres Aaron and her late husband Wylie Joe Aaron, her daughter Elva Torres Orocio and her late husband Regulo Orocio.
Emilia is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren too numerous to count. Emilia has been so blessed by God to live to see all her children's children.
Emilia was loved by all her family and friends. Her soul is now in the hands of God, who created her, because of His love for her. Emilia lived a very long life. We are all sorrowful that Emilia will no longer be in our presence. The love we all have for her will never leave our hearts. It is good to cry for those who are no longer with us, because Jesus also wept for Lazarus who was in the grave for four days. Jesus rose Lazarus from the grave because he told Martha that I am the resurrection and the life.
We all believe that Emilia was a daughter of Christ. Emilia had the gift of speaking in tongues and would quote scripture to us. She was wise and believed in our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of her faith Emilia will experience the resurrection of her body and soul at the end of the world. Emilia will be with the Blessed Trinity, Our Blessed Mother Mary, and all the angels and saints in heaven.
Please continue to pray everyday for the soul of Emilia Torres, because the soul never dies. Let us all together pray for Emilia so her soul will go to heaven. Emilia was a mother to us all but especially to my late Husband Hector Perez(died Dec 19, 1999) she was there for him in the end. More than his own mother. Emilia was an awesome person, mother, grandmother, friend she was there for you if u needed you!
