Emily Beth Wallingsford Gann, passed away Wednesday February 11, 2026.

Mom will be greatly missed by so many including: her husband, Jim Gann; her children, Andy and Leah; their spouses Melissa and Josh; her grandchildren, Drew and Lauren; her step-children: Ashley and David and their children; and countless others that are family, friends, and her former students.

As a teacher of 32 years, she always believed in those of you that were her students, and so many of you cannot imagine how proud she was of the people that you became and the impact you had on her

As a cousin, aunt, colleague, and friend: she had so many fond memories of her childhood, her interactions with nieces and nephews, the stories of mischief in teaching with friends, and then all of the close and personal relationships she had with so many. She was ready to do anything for anyone she loved, and you all were ready to do anything for her—and she knew it

While this is a devastating loss to us and so many, please know that she closed her eyes to go to sleep at the end of the day on Tuesday and the next time she opened them, she looked at the face of her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
