Emily Ann Wilson

It is with broken hearts that we must share that our beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother and 'Granny Great', Emily Ann Wilson (Nichols), joined the loving arms of our Lord on January 18th, 2026.

Emily was born in Bemis, Tennessee on December 23rd, 1947. She lived a very full life, and her family was so important in that life. She was not only a caring and kind person to everyone she met but in her 32 years as an educator she touched so many special children. She was a wonderful artist and creative with everything she touched. She created a warm and welcoming home and cabin where everyone was invited into.

Her parents, Richard & Judy Nichols, her oldest brother, Richard Nichols Jr., and her beloved son, Scott Christopher Wilson preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Robert Wilson, her daughter, Shana Thompson, her grandchildren Scott Thompson (Shanna) and Alexus Winter (Max), and her great grandchildren, Brianna, Raven, Ivan and Steven, a brother Ray Nichols (Linda), sister Margaret Kerlin (Bill), sisters-in-law Shirley Clark (Dave), Carol Burnelle (Bob), Mary Kubista, and many nieces and nephews.

Words cannot begin to express how much we will miss Emily, but we know she will always be in our hearts and the memories we have over the years will remain forever. She leaves a strong legacy in all her family and friends.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 5th, 2026, at 11:00AM at:
