Emily Nicole Wise, 31, of
Waterloo, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 5th, 2023.
Funeral services for Emily will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service- South Street located at 400 South Street,
Waterloo, IA 50701. Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Marvin Jenkins will be officiating the service for Emily. Directly following the funeral, the repast will be at Union Missionary Baptist Church. Emily will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed in Emily's name to her family which will be later designated elsewhere. Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service South Street is caring for Emily and her family.
Emily Nicole Wise was born on January 30, 1992 in
Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of Elliot Wise and Melissa Miner. She was raised and educated in the Black Hawk school district and graduated from Cedar Falls High School with the class of 2010. Following graduation, Emily went on to obtain her beautician license from La James school. She loved doing hair and make up for all of her friends and family. Emily was a hard working woman who dedicated herself as a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend. She worked for CBE as a collection specialist for several years up until her passing.
Emily loved spending time with her friends, and always cherished the memories of cheerleading for the Cedar Falls Tigers. She treasured her two favorite relationships with her dad and sister, Monique, who was truly her best friend as well as sister. Family truly meant everything to Emily and she is going to be extremely missed by so many.
Left to cherish Emily's memory is her father: Elliot (Shante) Wise; two sons: Bradyn and Zane Ferch; siblings: Jeffrey Kessler, Monique Wise, Willie Roberts, and Molly Wilson-Wise; three nephews: Lestat Kessler, Calais Johnson and Jameson Roach; grandparents: Janice Miner and Herman Wise, Sr.; and longtime companion: Bo Ferch.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Melissa Miner; uncles: David Brunson and Kirby Gruchow; grandpa: John Miner; Grandma: Josephine Wise; three aunts: Sherry Miner, Diane Wise and Rebecca Wise.
