Emma Baudanza Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Freeman Funeral Homes - Manalapan on Mar. 13, 2026.
Emma Baudanza, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply.

Emma was born on August 19, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Charles and Emma Costello. During a summer vacation on Staten Island, she met the love of her life, Ronald Baudanza, at South Beach. What began as a summer romance grew into a lifelong love story. Emma and Ronald were married on January 6, 1962, and together built a beautiful life centered on family, devotion, and unwavering partnership while raising their four children.

Emma cherished the memories she made spending summers at the family's Pocono Lake house. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved cooking and bringing her family together around the table, tending to her garden, riding her bike, searching for treasures at yard sales, and spending time outdoors. Above all, her greatest joy was being with her family. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

Emma was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Emma Costello, her brother and sister, Chuck and Beryl, and by her beloved son, Christopher Baudanza.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Ronald Baudanza; her sons, Ron Baudanza and his wife Lynn, and Daniel Baudanza; and her daughter, Ann Barba and her husband Robert. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Alyssa, Kayla, and Vincent Barba, Nicholette and Christopher Baudanza, and Sophia and Grace Baudanza. Her grandchildren were one of her greatest joys, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Emma will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, and the deep love she had for her family. She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Emma is now reunited in heaven with her beloved son, Christopher.

Services will be held privately by the family.
