Emma Josefina Bocanegra

Josie, my friend and neighbor, I learned today has transitioned to that perfect eternal home of everlasting joy and peace. She and I shared walking in our subdivision, occasionally stopping by each other homes for a chat or a shared bite of whatever we had (often time with me and her at a loss with understanding each other native language; yet our hearts and her radiant smile said all that was needed - "I truly like you, and I love you").
I have been inspired by seeing her walking recently pass my house with her daughter or a caretaker, believing-hoping-praying that she was truly rallying toward healing. Never clearly seeing that what was actually taking place was our CREATOR restoring unto her strength and a cheerful smile as she, not walk, but ascend unto HIM.
I am saddened yet thankful that she and I were blessed with intersecting paths. To her loved ones, cherish the memories.
