Emmadale French, 73, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel.
Mrs. French was born on February 9, 1951 in San Angelo. Emma graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1969. She attended Culinary College and was a pastry chef in New York and while she attended etiquette classes. When her children were born, Emma became a homemaker. She also worked at Stark's Funeral Home for a number of years. She was a sweetheart of a lady and a ball of fire when she got going. Emma would help others any way she could and was always quick with a nickname for everyone. Emma was easy to love and if you met her you would love her too. She was a Christian. She married Stan French on April 30,2002
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Judy Walker, Beverly Walker, Devon Castle, Wanda Lewis, and Eva Wiley; and a brother, Glen Bynum and George Henry Walker
Emma is survived by her Husband, Stanley; four daughters, Sharon Humphries of Georgia, Tawana Francis of Abilene, Zinandrea Lewis of San Angelo, and Constance Lewisi of Abilene; a sister, Bobbie Sims of Baltimore, Maryland; three grandchildren, Kahail Francis and Zacharey Hunter both of Abilene, and Lasone Hoskins of Hampton, Virginia; a niece Mykina Dumas and husband Eric of San Angelo; and living sisters and brothers and numerous other nieces and nephews.
