Emma Mullet

Emma Mullet, 90, passed away April 20, 2022. She was born November 30, 1931 in Middlefield, Ohio to the late Dan and Lizzie (Gingerich) Byler.
Emma and her husband, William owned Mullets Salvage and Mullets Country Store in Middlefield. They moved to Sarasota in 1970 and founded Mullets Appliance which still exists today and run by the third generation. They were members of the original Tuttle Avenue Mennonite Church which became Bahia Vista Mennonite Church and later became Sarasota Community Church.
Emma loved to bowl and competed in the Senior Olympics for Bowling for several years. Her team traveled all over the United States competing in cities all over the country. She also enjoyed golfing, taking cruises and traveling all over the world.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bob Mullet and his wife Fern; Bill Mullet, Jr. and his wife Debbie; Betty Ann Hochstetler and her husband Glenn; Butch Mullet; and her foster son, Richard Miller and his wife Yvonne; grandchildren, Dustin and his wife Tishana; Shawn and his wife Crystal; Lashay and her husband Tim; Amy and her husband Neil; Nathan and his wife Jess; Scott and his wife Jenna; Kelby and his wife Jill; Lindsey and her husband Ben; Travis and his wife Elaina; Stasha, Tiler and her husband Brent; great grandchildren, Grant and his wife Leah, Brayden, Tailyn, Jennica, Noah, Gage, Caleb, Avery, Logan, Kinsley, Nathan, Hayden, Hudson, Harper, Ella, Luke, Andrew, Maleah, Trenton, Reid, Tommy, Ira, Audrey, Lyla and Nolan.
In addition to her parents, Emma was predeceased by her husband William J Mullet in 2005; her siblings, Sarah, Joe, Christ and Dan Byler, Jr.
There will be a visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Sunnyside Village in the Chapel, 5201 Bahia Vista Street, Sarasota, Florida 34232 followed by a Celebration of Emma's Life at 12:00 pm.
