Emma Violet Ramos

Emma Violeta Ramos, affectionately known as "Violet," was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on August 25, 1941 to Aurelia and Arcadio Nieves. She entered into the glorious Presence of her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2026.

She is survived by her husband, Luis J. Ramos, and leaves a lasting spiritual legacy through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In her early years, Violet made her home in Brooklyn and later relocated to Staten Island. Her life was marked by a deep and unwavering love for God and for people. She served and worshipped with joy at Victory Outreach Church and later at Calvary Assembly of God, where she was often seen singing, praising God, and dancing in the aisles.

Violet also dedicated herself to serving others through the Pregnancy Care Center of New York where she assisted with

donations and ministered compassionately to both clients and staff. Her faith and kindness touched the lives of family, friends,

neighbors, and generations beyond her own.

Though petite in stature, Violet was a woman of extraordinary faith. Her life echoed the Holy Words, "Come and see the works of God Who is awesome in His deeds," and "Follow me as I follow Christ." Through her steadfast example, many have come to Christ- and her influence continues to bear fruit.
