Emma Welsh

Emma (Frescura) Welsh, 85, of White Valley, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born Nov. 28, 1939, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Dante and Mary Julia (Borandi) Frescura. Emma was a co-owner of the former Frescura Auto Parts on Route 22, Murrysville, with her late brother, Neil. She would fondly remember the distinct aroma of the store that she found to be pleasing. During her many years of employment, Emma developed lifetime friends and lots of great memories. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, pet owner, and friend. Surviving are her cherished daughter, Marisa (Matt) Hutsko of White Valley; adored grandchildren, Zachary Welsh, Alex Hutsko, and Eric Hutsko; and devoted nephews, Dan, Neil, Bob, and Joe Frescura, who were always there to lend a hand. In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard "Dick" Welsh; son, Richard "Ricky" Welsh; grandson, Richard Welsh; brothers, Neil (Tootie) Frescura and Emmanuel (Freda) Frescura; and a special niece, Marie Dombroski. Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at the WOLFE-VON GEIS FUNERAL HOME INC., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export, (724)-327-1400, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025.
