Emmett Walter Harrison

Emmett Harrison, 30, beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, and Uncle, was called to his eternal resting place on April 2, 2025. He entered this world on November 5, 1994 in Farmington, NM where he attended Farmington High School and graduated in 2014. He later moved to Albuquerque, NM to pursue artistry at Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy and graduated in 2020. He worked at Placitas Salon, and served as a caregiver for Retreat Healthcare. He is preceded in death by his namesake great-grandfather Emmett Harrison; namesake great-grandfather Walter Collins, grandfather John Martinez; aunt Lorensita Shorty and cousin Kyle Jackson.  He is survived by his father, Ralph Harrison; his mother Delphine Martinez and step-father Martin Thompson; his significant other Jenefer Bustillos; brother's Raphael Harrison, Rishawn Martinez, Manalo Harrison; sister's DaMonique Harrison, Nicol Harrison, Katelyn Harrison; grandfather Reynold Harrison, step-grandmother Verginia Harrison; grandmother Arlene Collins; grandmother Anne Betoni Martinez; nephew's Colt Swasey, Ikal Martinez, DeAngelo Guevara, and Draven Guevara; nieces, Dakota Campbell,, Annabelle Harrison, and Zia Harrison, and many other cousins, aunts and uncles. Emmett was a gentle, caring spirit. He, his smile and laughter will be greatly missed by his family and all those that knew him. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, 2:00 pm. at the Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
