WORCESTER/NORTH CHESTERFIELD-Emmie .L (Dubose) Ward, 83 passed away Monday in Johnston Willis Hospital, Bon Air, VA
She leaves three daughters, R. Michelle Law of Worcester, Rev. Emily Williams of North Chesterfield, VA and Rev. Bridgett Le of Texas; two sisters, Bernetha Robinson and Arnetha Roberts of Darlington, SC. A host of nieces, nephews, grand and great grandchildren, Son-in-law’s and Friends. A daughter, Felicia Poole; brother, Raymond Dubose and a sister, Eddie Mae Dubose predeceased. She was born in Timmonsville, SC, daughter of Raymond and Willie Mae (Bryant) Dubose predeceased.
Emmie worked as a nurse’s aide at Salisbury Nursing Home. She was a member of Next Church RVA of Virginia. A longtime usher and former member of her daughter’s Rev Bridgett Le’s Church Bless It Ministries, Second Baptist and Emmanuel Baptist Church in Worcester.
Visiting Hours are Saturday, December 13 from 9:30-11:00am in Emmanuel Baptist Church, 717 Main Street, Worcester, MA. A Funeral Service will be held in the Church at 11:00am. Burial will be private.
