Emmitt "Bo" Kennon Obituary
Emmitt “Bo” Jasper Kennon, Jr., 56, passed away peacefully in his sleep December 4, 2021.
Emmitt was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County and a son of the late Emmitt Jasper Kennon, Sr. and Lula Mae Hamlett. He enjoyed a long career in drywall construction and attended Burlington World of Pentecost Church as a devoted member.
He is survived by his children Joshua Kennon, Crystal Kennon, Michael Kennon, and Matthew Kennon of Rockingham County. He is also survived by his longtime companion Lynnette Clark and grandchildren Lucas Kennon, Jade Kennon, Grace Kennon, Aiden Kennon, Lilly Kennon, Wyatt Kennon, Josh Jr. and Cheyenne; sister, Gail Eggers.
A viewing will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2021,at Wilkerson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery in Ruffin. Services will be officiated by Kenneth Godair.
