Emmy Marie Mayville

Emmy Marie Mayville passed away suddenly, August 19, 2024, Knoxville, TN. She was the daughter of Judy and Bill Mayville, born December 16, 1975, in Burlington, Vermont.
After graduating Milton High School (VT), she attended Champlain College (Burlington,VT), graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies (1996). Emmy later moved to Tennessee, where she found her true passion in the medical industry. Emmy earned her certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant at the University of Tennessee (2013). After gaining valuable experience, Emmy went on to study nursing at Walter State Community College (Morristown, TN); she graduated with an Associate of Applied Science, Nursing (December 2023). She was listed on the President's List and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Once Emmy passed the state license exam, she became employed by the University of Tennessee Medical Center, working as a Staff Nurse on the cardiothoracic floor. Shortly after, Emmy became employed by Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee.
Emmy was very creative. She loved painting with acrylics & watercolors, and decorated for almost every holiday, especially her favorites (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). Emmy enjoyed being active, spending time with family and friends, and loving on her four-legged children (Stella, Maggie, Ruby, and Murphy).
Emmy was preceded in death by grandparents Helen and Ken Mayville, and Elizabeth and Joseph Caron, her mother Judy Mayville (née Caron), as well as two of her favorite pups Stella and Maggie. She is survived by her father Bill and wife Ruth, her brother Billy and his partner Mary Kay Raymond, her uncles Ken and his wife Liz, Gary, Dennis, Richard, her aunts Patricia and Janice, several cousins, and her husband Anthony Connor.
Services to honor and remember Emmy will be held later this year, with details to be announced.
