Jean was born on September 21, 1935, in Dodd City, Texas, to Ernest and Leona Morgan. She married the love of her life, C. J., on December 31, 1953, and shared 68 years of marriage together.
Jean was taught at an early age of hard work as she shared many stories of her days in the cotton fields. Her later years after marriage was to be a stay-at-home mom with her three children, usually caring for neighborhood kids after school.
Her years of working started at her church, Temple Baptist, as church secretary for 13 years. Then later would work in the aircraft industry at Bell Helicopter and Lockheed-Martin.
Because she wasn't one to sit around, after retiring she started working for Hallmark cards for the next 20 years.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, C. J. Crow, her parents, and one sister.
She is survived by her children, Terrie Harris and husband, Tommy of Fort Worth, Tim Crow and wife, Lea of Godley, and Tommy Crow and wife, Dana of Aledo; grandchildren, Jared Crow, Marc (Mallory) Harris, Tara (Shawn) Landrith, and Shalee (Junior) McDaniel; and eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
