PIQUA -- Eric R. Anderson, 38, of Piqua, passed away at 12:26 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Grandview Medical Center. He was born September 25, 1983 in Troy to Kurt Anderson of Kettering and Stephanie (Ayala) (Rev. John) Winchester of Piqua.
Other survivors include one sister, Andrea (Jeff) Rubinstein of Columbus; his niece and nephew, Lexi, Micah Rubinstein; his paternal grandmother, Carole Anderson of Topeka, Kansas; four aunts, Terry Hime, Sue Crist, Nancy Anderson, Bernadette Spencer; an uncle, Mark (Belinda) Ayala; and his cousins, Tyler Anderson, Brett Anderson, Stephen Spencer, Joel (Liz) Spencer, Nikki Tinnerman, Shanda Wright, Carrie Rodgers, Joel Hime, Jenny Sanders and Steven Hime.
Eric attended Miami East Schools and graduated from high school in 2001. He attended Edison State Community College. He worked for fifteen years for Nitto, Inc. as a cost administrator. He loved to cook and was very talented. He enjoyed electronics and technology, video games, and was the family tech guru. He also enjoyed learning about other cultures, especially Japanese culture and enjoyed Sumo Wrestling. Additionally, he enjoyed reading and watching to learn about Viking lore. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A service to honor his life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Euton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Abundant Life Baptist Church, 726 Wilson Ave. Piqua, OH 45356. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy, to be provided to the family, may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com.
