Eric Behnke Obituary
Clearwater - Eric P. Behnke, 66, of Clearwater, Florida passed away July 27, 2021, at a family home in Ocala, Florida.
He was born in Austria the son of the late Donald and Ivonne Behnke. He enjoyed spending time with his family doing Triathlons, cooking, eating and was a bartender.
Eric is survived by his daughter, Lisa Griffin and her husband Hank and granddaughter Megan of Belleview, FL, and by his son, Dennis Flory and his wife Bree Flory and grandson Auston Flory of Ocala, FL.
A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420. Condolences may be left at: Hiers-Baxley.com.

I am so sorry to hear about Eric, he was my neighbor since 1994 and I just found his house is for sale and that is why I know about this. He was such a cool guy, I purchased his VW Beetle years ago, and remember he worked at Adams Mark, and recently Cafe Alfresco. He will be missed. We had some fun times on Laura St.

My most sincere sympathies to Eric's family. I only knew him as MY bartender during my hundreds of visits to Dunedin's Café Alfresco over the past 15+ years. Very much enjoyed his sense of humor, funny and sometimes cynical opinions of so many things we spoke. And we had lots of fun pulling pranks on each other. He was also extremely caring to me during the difficult time of my mother's sudden illness, and her passing shortly thereafter 9 years ago. He will long be remembered. Blessings to you all,
