Eric Milton Bone November 29, 1963 – November 7, 2025
Eric Milton Bone has found peace as he entered into heaven and was reunited with his parents, the late Milton and Gail Bone.
Eric Milton Bone, 62, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away on November 7, 2025. Born in Butler, Georgia to Milton and Gail Bone, Eric spent his early years in Savannah, where he had a vibrant childhood. He was the hero to his younger siblings, affectionately nicknamed D. Bone and Kimbo.
He always had a love for dirt bikes, boating, and skiing in the Ogeechee River. He was a daredevil, a rascal, and always enjoyed all things fast! He attended Tompkins High School, Savannah, Georgia. As a child, Eric spent many happy days in Taylor County visiting his grandparents and cousins at the beloved Bone Hotel-memories that remained among his most treasured.
During his late teenage years, he returned to Butler where his contagious humor, charm, kindness and big ole heart made him a friend to many. Known affectionately as "Easy," he would often joke that he never quite understood the nickname, since life had rarely been easy. Yet those who knew him best understood-it was his gift for gab, quick wit and gorgeous smile that he could easily talk people into most anything. He made it all appear Easy. His adult life was indeed anything but Easy. It was a hard one, but he never lost his love for others. He never ended a call without a final, "I love you!"
Eric worked alongside his father, Milton, and brother, Derick, at Atlas Painting and Construction in Warner Robins, taking great pride in his craft and in the family business. He had plans to help continue to grow the family business.
Life brought Eric both joy and hardship. Even through seasons of struggle and time spent apart from the world, his faith, humor, and capacity for love never dimmed. Though his path was not without difficulty, Eric met life with courage, laughter, and an open heart. He remained hopeful, reflective, and full of gratitude for the people who stood by him. To the end, he carried a deep affection for his family and a steadfast belief in grace and redemption.
He is survived by his beloved son, Trevor Bone; his devoted siblings, Derick Bone and Kimberly Bickley (Ron); his uncle, Rod Brown (Karen); nephews, Brandon Loomis, Luke Bone (Skyler), and Drake Bone; niece, Molly Gail Bickley; and great-nephews, Tucker and Henry Bone; and many cousins that he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Gail Bone; and his grandparents, Hugh and Lucile Bone of Butler, and John Thomas and Ardith Brown of Reynolds.
His legacy will endure in the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the kindness he left behind. His relationship with Jesus gives us peace that he is in the arms of Jesus.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, 2 o'clock at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Butler, Georgia. Family will remain to visit after the service.
