Words can´t express how sorry I am for your loss. My heart goes out to the Cook family with sincere sympathy, deep sorrow and fervent prayers. When a love one like Eric leaves us; he leaves us with peace, happiness and joy. Eric was a quiet but mighty in action. He was a man with lots of talents. Eric never said no whenever asked for help. We all saw each other as family. Eric you will be missed from us but God needed another true soldier to come be with Him. Love goes to all of you!

Uncle Eric,

I just wanted to talk to you one more time and tell you how much I´m going to miss you. You were one of my BIG 3 favorite uncles, and losing you hurts more than I can explain. I´m going to miss being able to call you when I needed something fixed, or when I had an idea and you´d always give me great feedback to point me in the right direction.

Thank you for loving us all the way you did, and for always being a phone call away from me and for all of us. Thank you for teaching me how to shoot that long three ball too. I´ll never forget that. Watching you growing up was always amazing, and I´m grateful I got to see you be you.

It felt good to hear how everybody always told me I looked just like you, right then I knew I was a good looking man too LOL. Over time I started picking up your Mr. Fix It ways without realizing it, and I hope that one day I´ll be as good as you when it comes to fixing things.

But I wanted to let you know that during this tough time God saw fit to be your Mr. Fix It. HE fixed you Unc and HE made you better. And for that I´m happy, but I´m still hurting because you´re not here with us.

I love you, Unc. I appreciate you more than you´ll ever know. I´m going to miss you tremendously.
