Cumberland, MD – Eric Charles Duckworth, 52, Cumberland, MD passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born June 26, 1972 in Cumberland MD, Eric was the son of the late Kenneth and Debra Duckworth. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents: Charlie and Patty Gray; his son: Thadious Duckworth; and his nieces: Tiffany Gutillo, and Shytan Blacker.
Eric is survived by his wife: Rhonda Duckworth (Crawford); his children: Eric Thomas, Cumberland; Bryson Duckworth, Frostburg; Ethan Duckworth, Cumberland; and Shawney Kirchner, Cumberland; and 2 granddaughters. He also leaves behind his sisters: Sherry James, Terri Dabbs and husband, Scott; and Billie Jo Frazier and husband, Justin; his uncles: Chuck Gray, Bob Gray and wife, Lonnie; and John Gray and wife, Brenda; his nieces: Tara Crawford, Tori Gutillo, Avionna Bray, Sciona and Kariah Smith; his nephews: Tony Gutillo, Joey James, Derrick Bray, Dalton Leasure, and Ardell Smith; his mother-in-law: Diane Redinger; his sister-in-law: Delores Swanger and husband, AJ Cumberland; and his stepfather: Kenny Bridges Cumberland; as well as numerous cousins.
Eric loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with friends and family, and his best friend and loyal canine companion: Achilles.
Eric will be loved and missed forever.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to offset expenses.
