Eric Fernandez, 34, a Wappingers Falls native, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 26, 2026.
The beloved son of Denise and Don Fernandez Sr., Eric was a true family man whose love for his children and friends was fierce and undeniable. Ever resourceful and kindhearted, he was always a source of encouragement and motivation to friends near and far-especially during challenging times. An avid sports fan, Eric passionately rooted for his hometown New York Yankees and New England Patriots (Go Pats!). Armed with an infectious smile and full-bellied laugh, Eric made a profound impact on the many lives he touched, and his presence continues to be felt throughout each passing day.
A dedicated father, son, and brother, Eric is survived by his mother Denise; his sons Liam and Nicholas; his life partner, Dorota (Zac); his brother Don Jr., and sister-in-law Catherine; along with his nephew Caedon, and niece Natalie. May he rest in eternal peace and comfort.
Visitation for Eric will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 4 PM to 7 PM, at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main St., Fishkill, NY 12524.
