Eric Hammond

Mr. Eric Bryan Hammond, age 64 of Beaufort, SC passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

Mr. Hammond was born on November 30, 1960, in Bamberg, SC to the late Edward Bryan Hammond and Barbara Ann Folk Hammond. He loved growing up in Johnsonville, SC, on his grandmother's farm. Eric graduated from Johnsonville High School in Florence County, SC. Eric was a master electrician and foreman on many government construction projects all over the world. Eric loved the Clemson Tigers, motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and playing golf. After retirement, Eric enjoyed spending time with family and friends and sitting on his back porch solving the world's problems.

Eric is survived by his daughters Erika Hammond Johnson (Blake) of Beaufort, SC and Eleanor Bianca Hammond (Adam Spell) of Cope, SC; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Bryan, and Graham; his sister, Susan Hammond Stubbs (Arthur III) of Mount Pleasant, SC, and two nephews, Arthur and Andrew Stubbs.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR), Take One Make One (TOMO) Program, or Kingsburg Baptist Church- C/O Sherry Harwell – 1650 Allison Landing Road, Johnsonville SC 29555.
