Eric Herson Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Carol, his daughters Ashley (Sharif) and Melanie (Matthew), his 3 granddaughters, and Carol's children Jason (Rebecca) and Amy. He is also survived by his former wife Andrea Herson. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Marla Herson Rishty, (Martin Rishty z"l) and brother Alan Herson.
He will be sorely missed by close relatives and his many friends.
Ricky had a long and successful career starting at the age of 13, working alongside his father and grandfather at Herson Auto Parts, which later became Herson Glass Company. He was beloved by family, friends, and employees, and he made a lasting impression with his fabulous sense of humor and quick wit.
Services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, 11 a.m. at Congregation B'nai Tzedek, 10621 S Glen Rd, Potomac, MD 20854, with burial to follow at King David Memorial Gardens. Shiva information will be provided at service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Foundation (alzfdn.org). Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzanksy Goldberg Funeral Care.

Ricky and I went to B-CC together. We were not close friends, but he always had a smile and was genuinely just a nice person. We saw each other a few times over the years and he was the same nice guy every time. So sad to learn of his passing.
