Dear Suzi, Jennifer, Andrew, and family. We share in your grief with the passing of Eric. We all have fond memories of our times together when you lived and worked in Imperial Valley sharing menudo, Easter Sunrise Services, and all the highs and lows that come from trying to make our world a better place to live and work. Eric was a great leader at Imperial Valley College, bringing or lending a hand to bring, transformative changes for the benefit of all; students, faculty, staff, administrators, and the community at large. We will offer prayers for him and all of you. Un Abrazo, Familia Ponce Curlango.

Suzi I am so sorry to hear of Eric´s passing and send my deepest condolences.
Every time he would come into the office and stop at my desk he would walk in saying a little chant in Spanish! It was his way of greeting us and so every time I say it I always think of him. Good memories.
Rest in peace dear friend.

I was fortunate enough to take classes by both Mr & Mrs Jacobson at Imperial Valley College. Eric's passion for history coupled with Suzi's faithful devotion made them more than educators. Together, their light magnified brightly. It was through them that I was first introduced to the Imperial Valley Interfaith Council. I am sad to hear the news of Eric's passing and grateful that I was able to experience his light. Sending love to Mrs. Jacobson & family.
