Mr. Eric D. Johnson, age 47, of Green Sea, SC, transitioned from his earthly home to his eternal home on Friday, January 2, 2026, in Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia, SC.
A viewing will be from 11:00 a m to 12 noon on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the Mitchell Sea Missionary Baptist Church, 3990 Mitchell Sea Rd, Green Sea, SC 29545, with the funeral service beginning at 12 noon. There will be NO public viewing after the service. Burial will follow in the Stephens & Wright Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at the home of Mrs. Canisha Edwards, 3800 Fair Bluff Hwy, Green Sea, SC 29545, Tuesday, January 5, 2026, through Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The family will also be receiving guests at the home of Mrs. Tyra Johnson, 291 Harvester Loop, Hopkins, SC 29061, Tuesday, January 5, 2026, through Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
