Dear Rose and Family of Eric ~

I wish I had tried harder to see Eric again these last 10 years. Once I married, and moved to White Bear, life got busy. I did try numerous times when I was in his neighborhood, but we never connected.

I first met Eric when my daughter, age 6 at the time, and his daughter Erin started playing together at the neighborhood park in Brooklyn Center. Amy and I were invited over to their home for burgers on the grill in the backyard and Eric played his guitar for us. Such sweet sounds ~ I will cherish that memory forever.

I am happy to know he was not living in isolation and that he was loved by so many. I will always treasure the friendship we shared and I look forward to meeting many of you at the celebration of Eric's life this Saturday.

May our Lord comfort us all and allow our memories to flood over us and bring joy once again to our saddened hearts.

Affectionately,
Joni Carlson and Amy Zinmer
