Eric James Lange

Eric James Lange, born on June 7, 1975, passed away on January 13, 2026. Throughout his life, Eric was known for his big heart and fun-loving nature, characteristics that endeared him to many. His faith and love for the Lord showed in everything he did.

The birth of his daughter, Autumn, was the defining moment of Eric's life. His love for her was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent in her company, always ready to go above and beyond to ensure her happiness and well-being. This deep affection for his daughter was a testament to the warmth and generosity that characterized Eric's relationships with those he loved.

Eric had a profound passion for firearms, a topic that could ignite hours of animated conversation, particularly with his brother, Michael. His enthusiasm for guns was not just a hobby but a way to bond with those he cared about, sharing knowledge and stories that deepened connections.

Eric found joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life, particularly anything involving fire. Whether it was the vibrant spectacle of fireworks lighting up the night sky, the comforting glow of a bonfire, or the flickering flame of a Zippo lighter, Eric was captivated by the elemental beauty of fire. He could often be found gathered around a bonfire, engaging in spirited conversations with family and friends, or quietly reflecting as he watched the flames dance. These moments offered him a sense of peace and connection, reflecting the easy-going and friendly spirit that was so much a part of him.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, James Lange, numerous Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents, and some beloved cats that he loved dearly.

Eric is survived by his daughter, Autumn Lange, mother Linda (Kolle) Lange, sister Danielle (Jason) Nonnemacher, brother Michael (Melanie) Lange, nieces Sophie Nonnemacher and Emma Lange, many cousins/aunts/uncles, and his beloved cats Charger, Bryn, Dash, Caliber and Cimmy.

Funeral Service will be held on 11 AM Friday January 23, 2026 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 14980 Diamond Path Rosemount, MN with a Visitation from 5-7 PM on Thursday Jan 22nd at the White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Tr., Lakeville, MN and 1 hr prior to service at church. Interment, Lebanon Cemetery, Apple Valley.
