Bill and Terri, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. My thoughts go out to you and your family.

My deepest condolences to Bill and Terry and all his loved ones.

I just learned today of the sad news of Eric's death. He was my supervisor for just a few weeks at Tax before I moved on to another job with the State. Despite the short time he was my boss, he gave me a warm and very humorous sendoff on my last day (with festive balloons and black crepe all over my cube). Many here have said how nice Eric was, and I will add my agreement - he was the nicest guy around, and I will never forget him. Rest in Peace. Sincere condolences to the Lonergan family and friends.

I will greatly miss and remember one of my dearest friends growing up. So many memories to reflect on and cherish. I visited you today with my wife to have private time, shared my good bye and blessings on the day we meet again. Shed many tears of sadness from my heart, but tears of happiness for our shared time together and knowing that you are in a much better place.

Our hearts go out to your Mom and Dad, your sister Jennifer, your dog, and dearest friend Keith.

It really hurt when I received the news of Eric's passing. His mother Terry was my late mother Georgette's best friend. When we were babies, toddlers and kids we played together often; even though I lived in Ballston Spa and Eric in Clifton Park. We were two blondes both named Eric and were exactly the same age. Although I was very young, I remember the time we spent together well..,it's strange how that works. Life flew by and here I sit in metro Boston saddened and deeply hurt by this news. May you rest in peace my old friend, I will never forget you.

Eric it's rare to know someone as kind as you. Your sense of humor was amazing. Everyone that knew you liked you. I miss you and love ya. My thoughts and energy go out to you family and friends. especially Keith.

Some men mark their measure in longevity. Eric measured his life by carefully touching the lives of all whom he met., who, now, will return that care in the flood of memories of his life well lived. The shock of his passing among us in only 41 years may serve to more firmly cement in us the resolve to emulate his caring for those whom we will touch. Such is his proud legacy, amen.

I would like to express my deepest heartfelt condolences to Eric's family and friends. As a coworker, I knew Eric to be very pleasant and friendly. As a supervisor, Eric was extremely knowledgeable, always willing to help a colleague without ever making them feel reluctant to seek his help when needed, a highly valuable and respected member of the Tax Department. I pray Eric's family and friends receive all the strength needed to cope with the loss of such a wonderful man, wishing you hope in the midst of sorrow, comfort in the midst of pain and that in time, the pain and sorrow of the loss of Eric is replaced by cherished memories.

I went to Eric a couple of times with questions when I was a new rep in 8A. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. He will be greatly missed.

Eric...I am am deeply saddened by this news and really have been shaken up since I heard. My heart goes out to everyone you were fortunate to meet on this earth. I will definitely miss walking by your desk and seeing you. RIP Eric, you WILL be missed.

Dear Eric, we weren't that close at work but we were each other's back-up supervisor for a while and it was a pleasure to work with you. This was because you were one of the supervisors who didn't let the "power" of that position go to your head. I never heard you raise your voice to anyone. You were what one would call a gentle soul. I know your passing has left a huge and painful void in the hearts of so many people. Rest in peace.

I didn't know Eric, but I saw him often at work. Very sad news to hear, saddened all of us at Help desk at Tax Department.

Eric was a true one of a kind, the most caring and genuine person I've ever met. Not only a supervisor but a friend. Words can not express how much he will be missed.He was a gentle man and I feel so fortunate to have known him. God Bless him and his family during this difficult time. We will miss you all Eric!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Eric's untimely passing. I have a lot of very fond memories growing up in Clifton Park and spending time with Eric. I always really enjoyed his company. He will be greatly missed and my condolences to his family.

Eric was truly a ray of light in a job that often seems so dark. He was laughter and support whenever needed and gave more than he took. I will truly miss walking out of work with him and stopping for conversation. He was my Suoervisor and friend and anyone that knew him was blessed. Kind and calm are the words that come to mind when thinking of him and I am deeply saddened for his family and friends that will miss him. Prayers and thought of support are with you.

May this good man RIP. I have been friends with Eric for over 7 years now since we started together at work and he's someone who you could talk to, count on and trust. He's a loss to all of us and God bless his family they did a great job raising a good man.
