I was kinda related to him through marriage but I knew him even before that. He was truly kindhearted and will be missed tremendously. Every time I saw him he'd give me a hug. The last time I saw him was about 2 months ago and he got to meet my grandson. Rest in peace

I first met Eric in 2004. My friend and I were driving and we seen him just sitting on the guardrail along the road. So we pulled over and gave him a ride. From then on, him and I began to hang out a lot. We would drive around listening to ICP. One day he texted me and said, let's go swimming. So, we went to a friend of his, where there was a beautiful pond. I wasn't a big fan of swimming in ponds, or creeks. But I did, and it was the best time ever. We had so much fun that day. I'll never forget all of the fun times we had, other times also. And I'll always remember Eric as a fun, outgoing person. He was such a great friend. The last time I had spoken to him, was 2 weeks ago. He was working at the scrap yard and he said that he was doing good. I told him that I was proud of him and to be good. Even though we haven't talked much for the past few years, we were still friends. It breaks my heart that he's gone and no one will ever see him again. RIP bud. You'll be missed, dearly.
