Omg, Mr. Marshall!! I´m so sorry to hear of your passing! My prayers & condolences to his family! He was the best teacher ever!
I had the honor of having him at Harborcreek High, class of 1982!
My favorite memory with him was having the opportunity to go to Knoxville, Tennessee 1982 World´s Fair for our "Vo-Tech" Senior class trip! Not very many seniors could say they had that chance of a life time! He was grateful for me being the top candy bar seller! I honestly can say, he was one who inspired me to become a teacher! Thank you, Mr. Marshall for your inspiration and for serving our Country!

Our organist at our 2004 wedding. Such an extreme honor for us. He also played his bagpipes at my mom's funeral service in 2003.

Rest in eternal peace, dear Eric. A life well lived.

Mr. Marshall was one of my favorite teachers at Harbor Creek. He was very supportive of my Erie County Tech. School class of 1980. His room was like "Tech Rat Central". We had fun, learned, and were disciplined if necessary. I guess that was his Naval experience shinning through. And back in the day, a safe practice to keep order.
The Scottish bagpipe background and us following him down the halls, AND yes, through the Library, proved his stature and commitment to us.

I didn't realize all his wonderful accomplishments, and having an interest in agriculture, I wish I would have spoken to him about the family farm and his wine making. To his many many efforts and service, Mr. Marshall, I salute you!

I am saddened I can not attend his service, and express extreme sympathy and condolences to his family and friends. I am enlightened, however, that he had a relationship with our Lord, and was committed to Church music, and involved in the Koinonia movement. Rest in peace Mr. Marshall, and may God comfort his family.

As a high school friend, Eric made a great impact on my life. He got me interested in our shared Scottish genealogy. My husband loved talking to Eric about historical events. Eric is one of my role models for his amazing lifetime of service to others. I will always remember us as kids roaring with laughter as we piled on our toboggan and went speeding down his great hill. Thank you Eric for many years of unconditional friendship.

I remember many fun times at the farm in the barn with the youth group. He was truly a caring person who cared about you and was there for you always. I loved to hear him play the bagpipes, you could see the joy playing them brought him and anyone who had the pleasure of hearing him play. I will always cherish these memories. May the fact that he knew the Lord as his savior bring some peace to you all. You are all in my prayers.

We had the extreme honor of having Eric play the organ at our small wedding in 2004.

What a great man. And this tribute explains it all.

Our very deepest sympathies to all his loved ones.

Mr. Marshall will be missed. I stayed in touch with him mostly connecting through Saint Patrick´s day cards. I was Irish and he was Scottish. He played the bagpipe at my wedding. We didn´t tell anyone before hand, so he scared half of the congregation when he proceeded in haha! This is how I will remember him, sailing, sharing stories, and a we bit of scotch. I´ll be sending prayers for your family.

He was my social studies teacher at Harbor Creek High. I loved his class and when he played the bagpipes for Christmas. He will be deeply missed
