Eric Moyer Graveside services for Eric Newton Moyer of Elsberry, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011 in the Elsberry City Cemetery. Curtis Kerr, Sr. of Elsberry will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Stroder, Danny Tow, Greg Bufford, Sean Moyer, Damon Moyer and Jimmy Dickens. Mr. Moyer, 36, passed away early Thursday morning, March 10, 2011 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO. Born July 12, 1974 in Troy, MO, he was the son of Danny Thomas and Janie Lynn Smith Moyer. He was a 1993 graduate of Elsberry High School. He was employed for a few years as an auto body mechanic at Schultz Classic Car in Silex. Mr. Moyer was most recently employed as a stocker at Orscheln Farm & Home Supply in Troy. He enjoyed searching for and researching the arrowheads he found. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Kristina Moyer in 1973; his paternal grandparents, Forrest and Rosalie Moyer; and his maternal grandfather, Newton Smith, Jr. Survivors include his fiancé, Casey Noonan of Elsberry; three step-children: Gabby Noonan, Brianna Dickens and Jimmy Dickens; his father, Danny Moyer of Elsberry; his mother, Janie Moyer of Elsberry; and his maternal grandmother, Velda Barnes of Pittsfield, IL. He also leaves one brother, Sean Moyer of Elsberry; one nephew, Damon Moyer of Elsberry; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
