With deep sorrow and immense gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of Eric Alan Munson, who died peacefully on March 2, 2025, at the age of 78. Eric was a fiancé, father, grandfather, and dear friend to many including those who worked with him.
Born on August 25, 1946 in Carrington, ND to the late Edwin and Gladys Munson, Eric grew up working on different farms, training horses, including his horse Patch, playing the saxophone and participating in all high school sports. From there he dedicated his life to the practice of veterinary medicine and served in the US Army Veterinary Corps. Eric’s passion for his family, business and coworkers will always be remembered. He cared deeply for the well-being of those around him and never forgot where he came from.
Eric is survived by his fiancé Pat of 12 years; his three children Noel Munson, Kristen Roberts (Alex) and Keara Armstrong (Brian); his four grandchildren Bennett, Madelyn, Kallen and Oliver; and his three siblings Alan, Victor and Mary and their children Ryan, Tonya, Eric, Lexie, Nicholas and Victoria.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 2 - 4pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenfield-Greenridge Chapel (4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield, WI 53220).
