I miss you much Eric, but I feel better knowing you had a wonderful life with Helene, your family, and many friends. You were a neighbor but more importantly a friend. I talked to you frequently, especially over the last few months, and know how difficult it was for you to not have Helene at your side. The fact that you are now without pain brings me a bit of comfort. You will be in my thoughts and memories my friend.

Oh Helene we are so sad for you and Eric. You two were among our first friends in Casa Bonita and we'll always cherish that friendship, especially the laughs, the gripe sessions, the mutual friends and connections, and especially the art! I loved what you wrote about Eric, I can see how it all made sense to him. I can understand because I'm very much like him and it all makes sense to me as well! So very sorry to have not been around for these past months, as we're dealing with a health crisis for my mom. But know we're always thinking about the two of you. We wish you peace in this difficult time. Much love from your friends, Beth, Jim, Theo and Rose.

I live in the same building as Eric and Helene and had many wonderful conversations with both of them, even attending one of Helene's art shows where Eric proactively sold Helene's artwork. As a long resident of the building, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
